Top Adjustment
I adjusted the side seams of this beautiful sari so it could fit my rib cage perfectly!
Such a project takes anywhere from 15-30 min to sew and must be adjusted in person.
Patchwork
These were the "traveling pants" between my sisters and I for a long time. The fabric by the crotch got too worn and we couldn't wear it.
So I created a patch for the jeans. It isn't perfect and I wish I had reinforced the pants earlier.

It has been about 4 yrs since I fixed these pants and I still wear them! So I think it held up pretty well.
Such a project can take me anywhere from 20-50 min.
Jacket Design
Previously, the back of this jacket was an open flap and gaped awkwardly on the body. I altered the back to be a closed design until natural waistline. Then I sewed down the flaps to be a gentle A-line piping detail.
This project took 30 min to sew and 45 min to complete. It was fitted to the person.
Crotch Restructuring
The crotch in these pants ripped and severely damaged the fabric. So I had to restructure the crotch and leg line. This was my first time doing such an alteration alone so my mom helped me over the phone a bit.

The fabric is 60% Acetate and 40% Rayon so its slippery and difficult to manage.
This project took about 3 hrs to complete.
Altered Tapestry
I'm using my sewing skills in hopes of helping people feel more comfortable in their clothes. Here are some of the alterations I've done so far. If you need a garment hemmed, altered, or tweaked in any way, don't hesitate to contact me! I have very reasonable prices and can cater to most of the Greater Boston Area. If you come from out of town, we can still work something out!
Waist Fix
Often jeans (and just pants in general) do not fit properly. Usually they are either too big in the waist and fit my thighs/low hips or fit my waist, but then are too tight to fit thighs/low hips.
So I adjusted them to fit my waist! Elastic can also be inserted into the jeans to tighten them.

Such a project takes anywhere from 10-40 min depending on how complex or involved the alteration is, but generally 15 min.
